"Others have seen angels, but I have seen thee and thou art enough." ~George Moore

To Be
by Kathy Northup

To be...
your morning,
your every night,
the mist as you wake...
the dew that calms your day...

To be...
by your side,
when you feel the fright
when the darkness scares you
in the middle of the night...

To be ...
your breeze,
blowing troubles softly through your hair,
the hand that guides your kite
as it flies through the air …

To be...
your every wave,
pulling you homeward with the tide,
seeing you through the vast seas of your life...

To be...
the world
and everything to you...
the mom in your life ...
always loving you.
